Via Downer Pizzeria
Ever since it opened in the beginning of summer, I wanted to try the sister restaurant of a popular Transfer Pizza Cafe. Located on the East Side of Milwaukee, Via Downer borrows the menu and style from its original location, while sneaking in a bit of its own personality and vibe. Unable to make one of the first food tastings, a Saturday night dinner and movie-date seemed like a good reason to check it out and taste the deliciousness of Via’s culinary creations. read more
Fine Furnishings Show
This fall Milwaukee is home to the Midwest’s best Fine Furnishings Show for the 5th time in a row. October 1st through 3rd, local craftsmen, furniture designers and fine artists will display and sell their work in the Garage, at the Harley Davidson Museum. What a great opportunity to get exposed to the local talent, learn about the design and execution process, test, touch and feel the product in person. read more
