I graduated from Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) in 2007. But even before I got my official diploma in Interior Design, I learned about a ground-braking invention– Crypton Fabric. Someone did a moisture barrier test in class – they poured water onto a fabric, and we could see the water bead up, and not penetrate the moisture barrier of the fabric. I was sold. read more

“Welcoming fall” craft project
Even though calendar summer is still in effect until September 21st, we tend to welcome the change of seasons much sooner. Bright-flowered mums get added to our landscapes. Front door decor is switched from bright summer floral to toned-down shades of autumn. Being a naturalist, recycler and handy-woman I am, this year I made a new front door decor piece. And you are welcome to do the same.
